Climate Actions in Pakistan

At Moses Welfare Foundation, we believe that addressing the climate crisis is critical to ensuring a sustainable future for Pakistan. As a country deeply impacted by climate change, Pakistan faces challenges such as rising temperatures, melting glaciers, water scarcity, and unpredictable weather patterns. These changes threaten lives, livelihoods, and the environment. Our mission is to empower communities, promote sustainable practices, and foster resilience against the growing climate crisis.

Our Climate Action Goals

Environmental Awareness

Educating communities about climate change, its impacts, and the importance of environmental conservation. Through workshops, campaigns, and educational programs, we strive to create a climate-conscious society.

Sustainable Agriculture

Promoting eco-friendly farming practices to combat the effects of droughts and floods while improving food security. Our initiatives include training farmers in water-efficient techniques, organic farming, and crop diversification.

Afforestation Projects

Launching large-scale tree plantation drives across Pakistan to combat deforestation and reduce carbon emissions. Our “Green Pakistan Initiative” aims to plant a million trees by 2030.

Clean Energy Solutions

Advocating for the adoption of renewable energy sources like solar and wind power to reduce dependence on fossil fuels. We partner with local communities to provide affordable, sustainable energy options.

Water Conservation and Management

Addressing water scarcity through community-based projects such as rainwater harvesting, construction of small dams, and raising awareness about water-saving techniques.

Disaster Resilience

Assisting vulnerable communities in building resilience against climate-induced disasters such as floods and heatwaves. We provide emergency relief and work on long-term rehabilitation programs

Our Impact So Far

  • Tree Plantation Drives: Over 100,000 trees planted in urban and rural areas to combat deforestation.
  • Solar Energy Projects: Installation of solar panels in over 500 households in underserved regions.
  • Community Engagement: Training more than 10,000 individuals in sustainable practices.
  • Flood Relief Efforts: Supporting thousands of families affected by climate-induced floods through food, shelter, and rehabilitation initiatives.
